Young at Heart (YAH) was started years ago to give the 55-plus age group a place to come together for a time of fellowship other than regular church services. It started with just a few coming to a regular attendance of around 30 and growing. YAH is not a service oriented group as such. We look after each other but if someone outside the group needs help, we are willing and ready to help. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. in the annex. We take a break during the summer and a short period during the Christmas holidays.
When we meet, we keep busy for a couple of hours with such things as singing, a short devotional, games, fun quizzes, and, of course, some silly jokes. We try adding new things so as not to get boring, like going on outings. On the 1st Tuesday, we have a lunch in-house. On the 3rd, we go out for lunch to celebrate the birthdays for that month. Shhhhhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone, but the birthday kids for that month eat for FREE. You are invited to attend YAH and discover for yourself what a great time you can have!
